A Little Gwar On This Fine Saturday Morning

May 9, 2009 by Scott

Gwar never get nearly enough credit for actually being good musicians despite their years of experience. They’re always written off because of the songs they write and the costumes, but underneath all of that they have always really been talented. This is an honorable cover of Alice Cooper’s classic School’s Out.

Man, I just posted this to my own blog a couple of days ago. I was not aware that you did as well. Coincidence? Ha

I got up Saturday morning and opened iTunes. I was listening to G n’ R’s Use Your Illusion 2 and when it ended Gwar came on. Hell-O started playing and I wondered what official videos were on Youtube. I was pretty pleased to find and watch this as I have lost touch with Gwar for a long time and had no idea they covered this. I was really impressed.

My all time favorite Gwar album is Scumdogs.
