Because those crazy bastards must be smokin crack when they make these requests and decisions. 190 billion dollars for fiscal year ‘08?!? Are you F***in’ kidding me? In the past six years too much blood has been spilled and too much money spent on these wars. It is quite evident that Iraqis don’t want democracy or they would be trying much harder to fix things. A co-worker today told me that a country that fights for it’s own freedom can only be a democracy, whereas a country that tries to spread their own ways regardless of intention is an imperialistic country. This country is not ran by Americans anymore. This country is ran by the United Nations. We need to take America Back! The United Nations was constructed to be a good thing… something is not right.
In the past seven years we have sat back and watched “W” totally screw things up in our country…and WE are the ones that put him there…twice!?! I didn’t vote for him but honestly we didn’t have many alternatives. We (the U.S.) can put ourselves into a 190 billion dollar deficit but we can’t have some kind of health plan for our children or the elderly. While the politicians pockets are getting stuffed full of cash to make the wrong decisions, the rest of America, the ones that pay taxes anyway, are getting the shaft. While the price of oil rises we keep dumping more and more funds into a war we shouldn’t be in, in the first place!
Democracy and freedom are two words that have been abused entirely too much since 2001. We make excuses as to why we are in Iraq and Afghanistan. We support our troops that are fighting for our freedom by liberating Iraq. Last time I checked I was pretty damn free! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not blaming the troops by any means. The best way I think we can support our troops is to try to bring them home. Too many have died already in the name of Iraqi democracy. Liberation, another word used and abused. What are we liberating, our conscience?
Every time we make an excuse about why we are in Iraq, someone else dies. Every time we say that we are fighting for our own cause, a little girl loses her father, a mother loses a son, a brother loses his sister…and so on. So whenever you say you support the war, think about exactly what your supporting. When your child gets sick and you can’t afford health insurance tell yourself it’s o.k., because Iraqi children are getting free medical help from the United States of America. Whenever you get injured and can not go to work and you couldn’t afford the disability insurance, tell yourself it’s ok because you support the war in Afghanistan and some Taliban prisoner down at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba is getting all the medical treatment he needs free of charge.
As I have said before, I love America and I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else, but we have our own roads that need paving!
I made a promise a long time ago that I wouldn’t bring politics into this blog but screw that! Politics and music go hand in hand sometimes and from the beginning of rock and roll it’s always about bucking the system, ans stickin it to the man. Well I’m buckin’ and I’m stickin cause I’m fed up with the fools in charge. You think we would have learned a lesson from tens years in the jungles of Vietnam…but we didn’t. Call me ignorant call me a liberal, call me what you will. I DON’T CARE, because I know deep inside that I’m right and your just making excuses. Thats what politicians are good at, making excuses.

Your country is “ran by the United Nations”?
It is, after all, the UN and its unwavering support for the Iraq war that is keeping your soldiers over-seas.

Absolutely. AS much as people don’t want to believe it, the united nations was created as an ORGANIZATION to promote peace and unity throughout the world, but in retrospect it has become a CORPORATION designed for profit!

WHEN YOUR DONE, YOU MAY WANT TO TURN THEIR BRAINS AROUND FORWARD, BEFORE ALL THE FREE COUNTRIES BECOME CEMETARIES SINCE THEY SWEPT THE WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION UNDER THE GRASS AND ARE NOW IGNORING IT. WHEN HUSANE BUILT HIS PALACE UNDER THE AIRPORT, DID’NT YOU THINK THE OTHER 3 MISSING MOBILE LAUNCHERS WOULD BE UNDER GROUND.

I’, not saying Hussein wasn’t a tyrant. But he had control of his people and his country and I doubt he was a high of a threat to the US as he was made out to be. Unfortunately we’ve dug ourselves so deep that we have created what can now become one of the biggest terror cells in the world.
How does it look on the U.S. when we have our own nuclear warheads transported across the states on active missiles. We have our own nuclear reactors and we enrich uranium and say that we do it in a manor that is not a threat to other countries. But when any other country to include aggressive Muslim nations try to enrich uranium we automatically think that its for a bad cause. WE ARE NOT THE WORLD POLICE! Like I said…we have our own roads to pave.

Yea, a lot of sad, and senseless actions are taking place today, and the fact that it’s almost all unnecessary makes it even worse. Hopefully there will be some great change in the way things are happening right now because as it is now, it’s just not working well at all. We need to focus on our own problems at home, as opposed to being over there spending 700 million dollars PER DAY and losing lives.
