All That Remains Live DVD

atrlivedvd.jpgI’ve debated buying the All That Remains Live DVD for awhile now. I’m just not big on Live DVD’s, but since I’m going to see them live for the first time next month I figured it would be a good idea to pick this one up and see what I can expect.

The live performance of the DVD which was filmed in Philadelphia, PA and Baltimore, Maryland is good quality and the people that went to see them got a great show. Covering mostly songs from The Fall Of Ideals and a few from This Darkened Heart, Phil Labonte and his crew put on a good show. Oli Herbert is a phenomenal guitar player and Jeanne Sagan does a great job with back up vocals as well as bass. Jason Costa is an exceptional drummer and fits great in the band. Oh yeah, and Mike Martin’s pretty good too.

The extra behind the scenes footage is pretty cool, however a bit short. I like to see what the band is like when they aren’t tearing up the stage and I would have liked to see more of that. The videos are awesome as usual. Simple yet well worth watching. You don’t have to go overboard to make a good video. The DVD is fairly well priced even at expensive record stores like FYE. It is actually cheaper than most CDs. If your a ATR fan or if you even have slight interest in the band check out the All That Remains Live DVD.

The All That Remains Live DVD is pretty great. Phenomenal live performances and seeing how I’ve seen it for about 12 dollars at local stores, it’s well worth checking out.
