Baptized in Blood – Canada Just Got a Bit More Awesome
July 27, 2009 by Eric J
So there I was today, bopping around the ol’ interwebs, trying to find something new and fun to post about, when all of a sudden I got a notice on my Twitter account saying “baptizedinblood is now following you”. Well, hell, I figured I should go check ‘em out. “Baptized in Blood” has to be the name of some pretty hardcore metal band, right? Right.
After clicking on their MySpace page, you will immediately notice the sunflowers, blue skies and the dude wearing a “Let’s Boogie” t-shirt. Do not be fooled. These guys kick about 3 tons of ass, and then some. I listened to their song “Lightning Speed” while visiting the page, and knew I had to post something about this band. How they haven’t been on my radar before, I don’t know. Baptized in Blood formed in late 2004, and has since done quite a bit of performing, sharing the stage with the likes of Corrosion of Conformity, Strapping Young Lad, The Black Dahlia Murder, Bury Your Dead, 3 Inches of Blood and Thine Eyes Bleed.
Here are a few of their upcoming shows… if you get a chance to go see Baptized in Blood live, leave a comment and tell me what you think.

They’re amazing live

Fuckin love these guys. Definitely the best band in London if not southwestern Ontario. They absolutely kill it live and are sexy dudes to boot.
These guys throw the best in your face concert around, and still meet you for beers after.
All around great guys and amazing performers
