Black Metal Is So Corny

But I’ve been learning to love it. First it was Dimmu Borgir that I kind of got in to and then Immortal. Then I started getting in to some Blackened Death Metal, which is like the best of both worlds if done right. My latest addition is Aeternus’ Beyond The Wandering Moon. I found this CD today for $4.99 used and I sampled it and while the vocals are kind of mixed low, the music is astounding. I like it because it has some slower stuff that I don’t normally hear in black metal. After looking in to it, this is a re-release on Candlelight records. To the long time Black Metal advocate this may not be anything new or exciting, but it’s new to me. While I may not listen to black metal very often, it’s great to find something that I can listen to every now and again without having to listen to the same band.
