Check out Opeth’s new video for Burden off of the Watershed album. I love this song. Mikael’s voice is amazing. I love the heavier stuff but I wouldn’t mind an entire album that sounded like this.

Even as most of the members of Slayer are in their mid 40’s, there has been no sign of them slowing down. Tommy Araya made a statement a while ago saying that he couldn’t see himself going on much longer but then started to write another album and head out on another chapter of […]

Since discovering these guys through Guitar Hero, as so many others did, I’ve really come to dig The Sword. Freya was only a glimpse at the talent that this band possess. Although not as many songs on Age Of Winters are as memorable as Freya or some of the songs on Gods Of The Earth, […]

Metalsucks.net writer Vince Neilstein had a chance to interview Opeth front man Mikael Åkerfeldt and guitarist Fredrik Åkesson about a month ago in NYC when they were on tour with High On Fire and Nachtmystium who were recently booted from the tour. They talked about Metallica’s Death Magnetic and touring again. I’ll be interviewing […]
