MUDVAYNE have outdone themselves once again with the mind-blowing packaging for the new album.  The new album is revolutionizing album artwork design, as this is the first album to ever use black light reactive ink.  Every bit of art and text in the packaging of the record will be printed on ink that can only be seen with a black light.

South Carolina death metal act Through the Eyes of the Dead have announced the title of their forthcoming release on Prosthetic Records. The album, their third full length, will be titled Skepsis. The band has been recording at New York’s Gellar Cellar Studios. Alan Douches has been tapped to master the effort. The tracklisting is as follows:

Skinlab Posts New Tour Dates

Groove metal band Skinlab have announced their upcoming U.S. tour dates.
Formed in 1994 by Steev Esquivel (vocals, bass), former guitarist Mike Roberts and drummer Paul Hopkins, Skinlab took the San Francisco, CA Bay Area music scene by storm. Machine Head’s Robb Flynn took notice of the band, and helped them to secure their first record deal (Bound Gagged and Blindfolded) and sold out European tour.

Alice in Chains Unveils ‘Black Gives Way to Blue’ Album Art

I can’t wait for this one… Black Gives Way to Blue is Alice in Chains first release in more than 10 years. The quartet (guitarist/vocalist Jerry Cantrell, drummer Sean Kinney, bassist Mike Inez and guitarist/vocalist William DuVall) recorded the album with producer Nick Raskulinecz (Rush, Foo Fighters) at Studio 606 in Northridge, CA and Henson Studios in Hollywood.
