Children Of Bodom’s Blooddrunk Already Gold In Finland

April 11, 2008 by Scott

children.jpgChildren Of Bodom’s Upcoming release April 15th on Spinefarm Records has already gone gold and that’s just in pre-orders.  The Single “Blooddrunk” was a huge hit on the Finnish charts and I think it’s quite obvious that metal is more popular on a mainstream level in the Nordik countries.

You can still get your preorder Blooddrunk here. Which is kind of stupid because the presale says they ship on the 30th?

Check out Children Of Bodom on Gigantour 2008 with Megadeth, Job For A Cowboy, In Flames, and High On Fire

Good to hear that metal is soaring out there, but it’s not their best CD.

  2. The comment above actually answers the question I was about to (and still will, I guess) pose: Have you heard it, Scott, and what did you think? I haven’t yet, and although I liked the last one, I still think Hatecrew Deathroll and Follow the Reaper were better overall.

  3. Scott says:

Honestly Cait I have only heard two tracks from it, Blooddrunk and Banned From Heaven and I really dig them both. I love Hatecrew and recently bought Are Your Dead Yet, which I like but not as much as Hatecrew. I have not been a COB fan for very long but I love it as I love the new In Flames. I’ve beens stuck on American metal for too long and I’m glad that I’ve explored these two bands because they have amazed the shit outta me. I’m eager to get Blooddrunk and work my way back through both C.O.B. and In Flames Catalogs.
