Classic Lyrics Murdered By A 9 Year Old
January 28, 2008 by Scott
I went into my sons room the yesterday and he was playing his MP3 player tapped into a radio and Ted Nugent’s Cat Scratch fever was playing. Of course he has no idea what the song is about and that’s all good right now. It was at the bridge where The ‘Nuge sings “It’s nothing dangerous, “I feel no pain, I’ve got to ch-ch-change”. What comes out of his mouth? “It’s nothing dangerous, I feel the same, I’ve got a choo-choo-train!” I quickly corrected him in a stern voice and walked out of the room before busting out in laughter. It’s not the first time I’ve heard him butcher the lyrics and most of the time it’s Black Sabbath tunes. I thought this was funny enough to share. Next time you hear Cat Scratch Fever you’ll be thinking about a choo-choo-train. I know I will never sing the song the same again.

At least the kid has taste, even if he does butcher the lyrics. So many kids now listen to genuine crap, manufactured pop, rap, hip-hop. Any time I hear of a kid listening to real rock, I am happy. My 14 year old nephew listens to the same music I do now and did at his age.
He seems to have interest in it.It’s all he hears in the car is classic rock and metal.
leave him alone for gods sake? does it really matter?
pointless.
I’m Sorry, What? This post was meant to be funny. It’s a classic case of a kid and misheard lyrics. Pointless? What is pointless is your lack of a sense of humor.
I heard someone singing Sasquatch Beaver instead of Cat Scratch Fever.
LMAO. I’ve added my own spin on it before as well, but Sasquatch Beaver is pretty funny.
