Yeah,deathcore is over used and slot of the bands suck and that makes the good ones look bad, personly I love whitechapel,carnifex and suicide silence,but with all these fag scene kids around they make the real deathcore band that have talent look bad.

WTF, you guys have a 180 mind set about this compared to me
I won’t allow myself to call me a fan just yet. I have been listening to Danzig for aout a week scramling through songs from every album and it is refreshing to me to hear someone being able to go in different directions without Fing it up IMO. Like some other bands, do I dare to name metallica. I have bought the Danzig+ How the gods kill (danzig III) and I listened to Satan’s child the other day and man that albm is like YEAH!!! and I know that I will be happy with every album i will not buy the new album until I have a solid foundation with his past work. Up until now the vocals have been the focus of the first albums but the further out it seems to be more of a connection between lyrics and music.

The shows I go to usually have a middle age around 28 (I guess) I agree with Will that kids have a tendency to follow trends. Another point is to listen to metal to be different or rebel against stuff. If that is the case, the interest might go away as you grow up. It didn’t happen to me. I’m 31 now. I listened to stuff like WASP, Megadeth, Anthrax and Slayer when I was a kid, added stuff like Machine Head and Pantera when I was a teenager, and moved more towards Death and Black Metal in late twenties. I do enjoy almost all types of music, but metal is the stuff I’m passionate about. There seem to be a metal boom among the teenagers here in Finland so compared to them, metalheads in their 30ies, at least what you can see, are few and far between.
