Dear Tommy Lee, Please Don’t.

Motley Crue’s Tommy Lee has tried many things outside of Motley Crue to include being a turn-table spinning DJ. Some may remember that one acoustic song “Hold Me Down“, which was kind of catchy but still…not very good. You may also recall Tommy Lee trying to jump in to the nu-metal scene with his Methods Of Mayhem and their single “Get Naked” (Video Below).
According to an interview conducted by Hellena Mihailidou of Metalzone.gr, a Greek metal site, Tommy is up to no good again with plans of a new Methods Of Mayhem album.

Tommy: I am working on a new Methods Of Mayhem record and hopefully we’ll get that thing done by May or June and go on Crue fest
I think I speak for about 99% of the metal/rock community when I say: Please Tommy, tell me…What did we ever do to you to deserve this?
Saw Methods of Mayhem at Ozzfest….it had to be hands down the most embarassing moment of Tommy Lee’s life. Watching him jump around on stage in a neon pink jumpsuit with a baseball cap on askew made me feel literally sick to my stomach.
Tommy has proven to me that he’s not the greatest decision maker. It’s like he tries way too hard to stay relevant to whatever the “cool” scene is up to. Ultimately he fails. He just needs to stick to being a mediocre drummer.
Oh and thanks…now I have this terrible mental picture of Tommy in pink and I too am getting a bit sick.
