Dethklok | The Dethalbum

by Scott on February 19th, 2008

dethalbumhp2 Dethklok The Dethalbum is more than just a parody of Heavy metal. If you haven’t watched Metalacolypse then do so. It’s kind of stupid, kind of funny…but it’s awesome. Despite the whole cartoon band thing going on, the music is actually really cool. You have the cheesy lyrics obviously made for the songs for the show but aside from that the vocals are cool, the drums beat hard and the guitars are shredding. A few of my favorites are Thunderhorse, Awaken, and Bloodrocuted. Oh, and Dethharmonic kicks ass too!

I wasn’t sure if I was up to buying this when I started watching the show but I was at Best Buy this past weekend and couldn’t find anything else that really sparked my interest. It makes me want to find a home for “Wayward Kitties“.

The Deathalbum is simply “Brutal”

(Marty, that kid on that episode reminds me of you.)

Metalocalypse is supposed to be a parody of a heavy metal band created by Brendon Small. He portrays the band and members as a global industry due to their mass popularity.

Dethklok is truly an awesome band. The whole Dethalbum is too good to like any number of songs. I love ‘em all. I suggest going to a live concert. Brendon small plays the lyrics and lead guitar, and two more people play the drums and rythem guitar. Possibly a Bass guitar too?

Glad you like Dethklok. You are now an official Klokateer.

You are a douche for buying misic at Best Buy. I hate you. Put down the metal and get some top 40 pop music with all the other kids at Best Buy. Find a real music store and stop sucking.

So let me get this straight. I’m a sellout because I was at Best Buy to get a hard drive for my laptop and bought a cd..so that makes me a sell out. Trust me, I don;t make an effort to go to best buy to find music…I go to WALMART! Gotta love Lamb Of God’s Ashes Of The Wake edited version…lol.

The shit some of you come up with amazes the shit outta me. A

I love best buy. It is the cheapest place around to buy music. The website is pretty good too. There is where you can find some stuff not normally carried in the store. I guess I must be asellout too. I must be a super sellout because I order from Amazon alot.

Yes, you all suck. These bands that need your support because there is no mainstream airplay or videos are not making any money off the albums you buy at chain stores. They receive a few pennies, literally, for that cd sold. The only way they make any money from album sales is if you buy it direct from the label or at their concerts. If you enjoy metal the only way to sustain these bands and their careers is to buy that way. I have gone four or five years this way, and I have not missed out o any good releases, and I find myself getting into bands more because I am checking out their websites or going to their concerts to buy albums. When you buy music at a store, you support these artists getting ripped off.

yeah, because we buy from stores we don’t support the bands. How about instead of getting pissed like an angry little girl you inform us of these things in a manner to which we could respect what you have to say as opposed to coming off as some kind of jerk off, calling names and shit. I get FREE cd’s from record labels. I do reviews on them and when I get a chance I go to shows. I spread the word on some bands that don’t even have a label yet. So don’t tell me that I don’t support the bands I listen to!

I don’t care if I offended anyone. I will not apologize for hurting your sensitive feelings. I couldn’t care less who respects me. If your whole argument is that I said something truthful in a mean way, then you are weak. I will continue to tell you whatever I want to. If you are so tight with labels, then why would you need to buy albums from Best Buy? You lose. Be quiet.

First off, You didn’t hurt my feelings. You said something stupid. Secondly, I never said I was “Tight” with the labels…I wish i was. A few of them send me CDs to review. If I like it then I say so. If it’s crap, it’s crap. You’re obviously the one who is weak if you sit on the other side of that computer and tell people they are sellouts because they buy records from stores and “Don’t support the bands”. and you play this mean, tough guy gimmick. Get over yourself. YOU LOSE! Buh-bye.
