Remember when Geraldo had to weasel into things with all those craptastic cow mutilation and "I was raised in a baby killing cult" specials? Yes, some of the bands were pretty into the whole scene, but by and large it was done to discredit popular bands with lewd content. Like Kiss - the old "Knights In Satan's Service" garbage. Whereas WASP really did stand for We Are Sexual Perverts.
