DevilDriver Unleash Special Project for Horror Fans

DevilDriver have released the following update via their MySpace page:

“Hello friends and supporters,

We have a special project for all of you horror fanatics and metal heads to check out. Nathan Karma Cox, the director of ‘Not All Who Wander Are Lost’ and ‘Pray For Villains’, and also our longtime friend and music video collaborator recently won a short film contest and is currently looking for votes for the contest’s final round. His film is a horror themed project in a sea full of light-hearted pieces.

We want to show the conservative crowd that dark/alternative art is worth supporting, by sending a tsunami of DevilDriver fans to hit the contest site, sign up, view the films and give some love to our friend Nathan’s film. It is called, The Resurrection of Officer Rollins, and stars DevilDriver fan and friend Derek Mears (Jason from Friday The 13th), Rodney Eastman (One of the original Dream Warriors from Nightmare On Elm St. 3 and 4) and rising star Scoot McNairy. The original score was composed by John Avila (bass player of OINGO BOINGO and longtime Danny Elfman Collaborator).

Nathan needs our help. Voting ends September 16th, so time is of the essence. Please show him how we circle the wagons around one of our own, by signing up, watching all ten films and voting for Nathan’s kick ass film. If you just watch the film and don’t vote for all ten, then your vote will not count, so please take the time.
