Did God Push Glenn Danzig Off The Stage At MD Show?
I can’t take credit for the title of this post. I read this article on Blabbermouth.net and someone commented that God pushed Glenn off of the stage and I thought that was hilarious so I wanted to use the title. Anyway here is an excerpt from the full article.
“I covered the opening night of the DANZIG tour in Baltimore, MD on October 23, 2007 and among other interesting things that happened that night, it was the first official performance of Doyle’s [former MISFITS axeman Doyle Von Frankenstein] GORGEOUS FRANKENSTEIN and their set was plagued with problems. And then during DANZIG’s set, Glenn fell off the stage during ‘How the Gods Kill’ and I have a pic of him getting back onstage after the fall… Also, Glenn was in a bad mood after the fall — he cut the show short and he nixed the MISFITS set with Doyle and was yelling at Todd Youth [guitar] the rest of the night telling him to slow down his playing. The story I was told from a security guard was that Glenn dislocated his shoulder, but I can’t confirm that. However, he was hurt badly because he did not meet fans after the show… he ran directly to the bus and didn’t come out.”

I also read that comment which you used as a title and I laughed out loud, and continue to laugh now, hours after I first read it. Poor Glenn Danzig, poor poor boy.

He’s also lookin’ a bit chunky. I still wonder how the hell he fell off the stage.

No. God did not push Danzig off the stage. Sources reveal that God was busy in the Middle East at the time and not available for comment.
Besides it’s like Danzig said: “He’s God’s original right hand man, he’s kept the church in business all these years…”
