Divine Heresy, The Sword and Guitar Hero 80’s

I’m gonna keep this short and sweet cause I’m about to throw back a few cold ones and try to avoid watching VH1 cause every time I do I tend to get pissed off. Anyway, I took the day off from work today so we (the wife and daughter, son was at school) went out today and I picked up a couple CD’s. I picked up Divine Heresy and The Sword.

Lets talk about Divine Heresy Bleed the Fifth for a second. I don’t have the slightest idea why I wanted this CD, maybe it was because I have been a Fear Factory fan for awhile and I like Dino Cazares’s style. Anyway I’ll elaborate more on this some other time in a review sometime this weekend.

Now about The Sword. I first heard them in Guitar Hero II and loved the song Freya. So far I like the CD and I will also elaborate more on it this weekend. I also ordered this cd about a week or so ago from amazon.com and it’s not here yet, so I will have two of them when it gets here. Needless to say it will be the prize for my next contest.

Now on to Guitar Hero Rock The 80’s. I got a great deal today. I can’t say where it was for my own reasons but here is what I got. I was looking at wireless guitars for the PS2 and found the white kinda funky looking one from redoctaine…but this one came with GH, Rock The 80’s and was priced $59.99, the same as one without the game. I don’t know if this was a pricing error but I took advantage of it and saved $49.99 on the game. So far the game is cool, relivin’ some old shit like Quiet Riot and TS. Some radar Love covered by White Lion. Its not as good as GH1 or 2 but since it was free it’s pretty damn cool. Looks like this will be my very last post for August and I’m kinda bummed cause I don’t think I’m gonna hit the 10,000 page view mark even though it started out great this month. Oh well, Life goes on. The blood flows and the beers spills…but that works both ways.
