The Sword’s new single Fire Lances Of The Ancient Hyperzephyrians from their upcoming release Gods Of The Earth is available via Kemodo Records. A title not quite as long as Nile’s Papyrus, but close. Gods of the Earth is scheduled for an April 1st release date and is the follow up album to 2006’s Age Of Winters.

I was downloading this as I wrote this post…slow dial-up. I must say it’s pretty heavy and they must have heard everyone bitching about the muddy vocals on Age Of Winters because they sound a lot more cleaner on this song. I’m liking it!
GODS OF THE EARTH is one fantastic album.
I am glad to “hear” they cleaned up the vocal on the album. by the way, I was not bitchin’ about the vocals, just makin’ a statment. and no, I am not paranoid!!!! “Ltc”
Nha, it wasn’t just you Dale. Every review, that I read and even mine, people had something to say about the muddy sounding vocals.
Judging from “Fire Lances of The Ancient Hyperzephyrians” Gods Of The Earth should be a great album! and I definitely noticed the cleaner vocals on this than on Age of Winters.
