Friday Night Metal Martyr Update
OK, I’ve been really busy today and it’s been all together a crappy day. A friend of mine at work walked out today and It ruined my whole day. I was going to go see All That Remains tonight in Jacksonville, NC but after work I didn’t feel like driving and I honestly didn’t feel like going alone which kinda sucks ’cause I haven’t been to any shows in a long time and I really wanted to see ATR.
I went out tonight and picked up a few things, Lamb Of God’s Sacrament Producer Edition. I haven’t had a chance to play around with it yet but I’ll do a review this weekend. I also picked up All That Remains The Fall Of Ideals. I’m liking it so far, a bit better than Behind Silence And Solitude. It has a better vocal variety. I also got a free Radio Rebellion DVD from FYE that I’m going to watch and throw in the December prize pack.
GMAN contacted me last night so I sent out the warchest to him this morning. Sorry for all you guys that had hopes for a second chance. I think there may have been an issue with his yahoo filtering his email. I’ve had this same issue before.
Thats about covers it for tonight. I’ll get busy this weekend posting some good stuff. Until then I have a Pint of Grolsch and a 5th of Crown Roy-al to relax with. I hope everyone is enjoying and taking advantage of the Free Download Friday. Until tomorrow.

That sucks that you weren’t able to go to the ATR show. For me, the biggest reason for not going to shows is how far it is. Going alone can be a pretty good experience every once in a while. Based on the shows that I’ve been to, I usually meet a couple cool people before the show, and we’ll just talk about music and other shows we’ve been to until the gates open. It’s also just nice to be around other people who are as passionate about metal as you are.

I think I could have, but I didn’t feel like the drive after getting off of work, but it was only about asn hour and a half drive so I wish I had…oh well. I won’t miss another show that close.
