Gene Simmons Is A Whore
For real. It seems every time you turn around, Gene Simmons is pimping himself out for something or another. First A&E and to Donald Trump. There is no doubt in my mind that Gene is a marketing genius, but come one. When is this going to stop. I no longer look at Kiss as a band. I love their music (the older stuff anyway) but the more I see them on VH1 it seems like it was all just a business to them. It was all about making money, partying and women. Was it ever about the music, or was it all about what was trendy then? How many Kissologies can you release?
How much repetitive shit can you sell to fans that know no better than to keep shoveling out money for the same crap over and over. I think their merchandise sells more than their music does. Honestly, of all the Kiss records how many songs are actually really good? They have spent the last 30 years playing the same hits that made them big in the first place and sometimes trying to transform those same songs into a new version to follow the sound of whats hot at the moment. I can’ t believe it took me this long to figure it out. How naive can I (We) be? I’ve been thinking about this for some time now, this is just the first time I thought I would let it out!

I. Hate. This. Man. With a passion. As a bass player, the infamy of Gene Simmons as a bassist makes me hang my head in shame. I wouldn’t be sad if he got hit by a bus tomorrow… but chances are that bus would have an ad on it for some KISS merch or one of his crappy reality shows, so he still wins - EVEN IN DEATH! Damn you Gene Simmons!

I am glad to see I am not the only one who is tried of the same kiss song in a different color wrapper!!! I know it is a business and they are trying to make money, but how many times can you put rock and roll all night on an album and make money one it!!! and the worst idea they(probably gene) had was putting the picture of kiss on the outside of a casket. that is the lamest idea ever!!!

yeah, you know I guess they are supposed to be doing this for charity, but you know Gene doesn’t do anything for free.
I’m also glad to see there is other people that feel this way too.
It’s the face paint that sells. I’d like to see them slap their real faces on a rubix cube or a pair of underwear and see if anyone buys it.
