HeadBangers Ball Playlist for 5/3

OK, I like a lot of these videos, but Jesus they need to either find some more videos to play. Some older ones perhaps because it’s getting a little repetitive. The least they could do is cut some commercials and add a few more videos. Lets say the average video is 4 minutes long give or take. That’s about 80 minutes of videos and about 40 minutes of commercials? There is not that many damn commercials during a Road Rules or Real World marathon for Christ sake! Maybe we should just be thankful that the corporate whores at Mtv are airing this much music (Let alone Metal) in a two hour period. On the list I could do without the Mars Volta and I’m getting a bit tired with The Sword video. I love the new cd but this video gets a bit boring after the first 3 times. Anyway, here’s the list for tonight.

I just cannot get into most of these new growling bands and those with female singers. What happened to the music and good lyrics??? Even just one or the other is helpful.
Don’t mean to just complain; but, if there is no Zombie, King Diamond, Slayer, etc. to help break the monotony, I just cannot watch.
I did like Opeth’s new vid okay.
I hear you, L. Don;t get me wrong, I like a lot of growling but some of it just gets a bit old after awhile. I like arch enemy’s music…but I just can’t get into Angela singing. It’s nice to have the bands like Firewind, Death Angel, and mastodon in there.
I really liked that Obituary tune though, and I liked the Opeth video as well. Loved that classic guitar.
