If You Could Be A Roadie…
The news is kinda slow today, so…If you could be a roadie for any 2 metal bands of your choice in any time period, past and present, who would you want to be a roadie for? This is one of those tough questions that some have to think hard about and some may be able to know their answer right off the bat. If I were to be a roadie for a past band, I think I would want to be a roadie for Pantera for my band of the past and a band of the present would be Lamb of God.
Why Pantera? I don’t know really, I think it’s because every home-type video I see of them they seem to be having a ball wherever they are and whatever they are doing. Even though I imagine Phil could have been quite the asshole back in the day, I think it still would have been a real cool time.
Lamb of God on the other hand is just an awesome band in my opinion and as they progress it only seems to get better. I’ve never been to a LOG tour but I’ve also seen videos of then band and it seems like a cool bunch. I know being a roadie is hard work, but everything is hard work and hard work brings crazy playtime to unload the stress.
A band I wouldn’t want to be a roadie for is Iron Maiden. Why? because I think Bruce Dickinson can be a real prick and besides that they have a lot of stage props and that would be WAY too much work.
So…if you could be a roadie??

If I could be a roadie, I’d be one for Def Leppard, in the 80s. I had/have a thing for the singer. Presently, I would roadie for Megadeth, because I dig Dave, he seems cool.

Dah-duh-da!…fa-fa-fa-foolin! Dun-dah!, sorry, whenever I hear the name def leppard that song and visions of mullets and sleeveless British flag shirts start flying through my head.

I think it would be cool to roadie for a band with a huge production, like Maiden, or Rush. I would love to know how all the behinds the scenes stuff works. Actually, instead of roadie I wish I could do the boards for lights or sound.
