Frankly I hate the music of Gorgoroth, it just annoys the sh*t out of me. Every time it come’s on XM I have to turn to the Boneyard. Honestly I would have never guessed or cared far enough to know that Gorgoroth’s Gaahl likes dudes. I have nothing against that, to each his own. I imagine if every rocker or metal artists that is living “In the closet” came out there would be a sh*tload of fans that would be gasping in disbelief.

I appreciate some black metal but Gorogoroth truly sucks. I don’t why these guys get so much attention ( well, they do have naked chicks hanging from crosses on stage but still). Sorry, give me some good ole Dimmu Borgir or even Cradle of Filth over the noise Gorogoroth calls music.

That’s what I’m saying, man. I never really heard them before starting to listen to liquid metal on XM from my satellite when I was blogging and one day they came on and i was thinking WTF is this? I don;t know what song it was. All I know is I looked over at the tv and it said Gorgoroth and ever since, I hear crap, look, gorgoroth, change to boneyard.

Some of the greatest musicians have been gay. With the obvious Rob Halford, Freddy Mercury, Elton John (Even though he’s not my favorite, he’s an amazing musician), etc. Who cares if they are gay or not.
the problems with posting messages online about stuff is that you cannot portray sarcasm very well as seen in this situation .

Anyway, if Gaahl is gay, more power to him (I am bisexual myself, but I suppose as a woman there is less discrimination). It’s hard to be gay in the metal world and I’m willing to bet that a surprising number of the artists we know and love are simply too afraid to be honest with themselves and with others.
And when you think about it, being gay is very metal. Sodomy is totally grim and kvlt, plus it’ll piss off religious weirdoes all across the board. What’s not metal about that?
PS: Rob Halford FUCKING rocks. Saw Priest recently–he is a metal god, and he has serious balls, being openly gay in a musical subculture that is known for homophobia and intolerance.

1. Who gives a shit if someone is gay, good on ‘em is all i can say. i know u were being sarcastic but being gay is basically FULLY metal, its anti-religious.
