In Your Opinion…The Best Albums Of_______ Is.

Reading through a post on Metal Music Blog titled I Do Not Consider Black Album as the Best Metallica Album – So What Is My Best Metallica Album. He goes into depth on his experience with Metallica and what he thinks is Metallica’s best work.

This got me thinking about other bands. Of course everyone’s opinion is going to be different and I’m not going to go into depth into each record of each band. I’m going to name the band and what I think is either their best recording or my favorite, WTF’s the difference, right? You’ll see. Anyway lets get it started.

Slayer: South Of Heaven, with Seasons In The Abyss a close second. With Ghosts Of War, Mandatory Suicide, and Dissident Aggressor you can’t go wrong.

Megadeth: Rust In Peace as best recording, My Favorite would be Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying? I love both records but there is just something about Peace Sells.

Pantera: This is tough because  Cowboys From Hell, Vulgar Display Of Power, And Far Beyond Driven are all great albums, but I’d have to go with Vulgar Display Of Power.

Iron Maiden: Tough, but so easy. Number Of The Beast hands down.

Lamb Of God: Ashes Of The Wake. Best production value and great songs all together. I like Sacrament as well but Ashes is the best.

Slipknot: Clearly Volume 3 The Subliminal Versus is their best work. The sound is at it’s best, lyrically and musically. Iowa was good but not good enough.

Danzig: Danzig II Lucifuge. Out of the first 4, because after that it goes to complete shit.

Sepultura: Chaos AD. Arise and Schizophrenia are both really great records but Chaos is their best.

Well there is just a few. Add some, change some, whatever. What do you consider the best record of ________?
