Iron Maiden Strappin’ On Their Football Boots

“No, they’re playing soccer, stupid!” That’s a statement I’m expecting from the first douche that doesn’t think about the fact that they call it football everywhere else but the U.S. (And maybe Canada, I don’t know).
Iron Maiden is set to compete in a soccer match with some Norwegian rockers and few former professional soccer players. Don’t be surprised if Maiden get’s their arses kicked like they did the last time they played (8-1). They will be playing before their performance in Oslo on Thursday the 24th of July…me Mum’s birthday. Below is the list of the blokes from Norway that will be playing.

it’ll be interesting to see what the score is. and in canada, it’s about a 50/50 split between people that say soccer and people that say football.

I really doubt it’s a 50/50 split between “football” and “soccer”.
No native Canadian that I have ever met has ever called it “football”.
I’ve lived in Canada my entire life.
