What The Press Is Saying About Prevail
“Prevail is proof that success in death metal doesn’t have to mean softened backbones and sacrificed integrity.” - Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles

“Prevail is like a fire breathing monster that’ll burn away your hair, your skin and your notion that death metal is on the wane. KATAKLYSM are still articulately crafting efficient death metal that never turns any corners or pulls any unexpected punches.” - Metal Maniacs

“As of now…Prevail is the death metal album of 2008!” - Metal Hammer

“…not only has KATAKLYSM shrewdly sidestepped sounding redundant in such a rigid musical subgenre, but the passion that drives the Montreal foursome’s music seems stronger than ever as of late.”  – Decibel Magazine

“KATAKLYSM are without a doubt one of todays most important death metal bands. Fans of the band can buy PREVAIL blindly!” - Rock Hard
