Lamb Of God: Set To Fail Video

Perhaps the best song on this album (review coming soon), Lamb Of God’s Set To Fail has a certain Pantera-esque feel to it. That’s not a bad thing at all considering that I wish there could have been more Pantera songs. Shit happens and Phil had issues and the rest of the band had to move on for a short period that turned out to be a disaster. Not because the music was bad, because Damageplan was awesome. This new L.O.G. is a great song and keep an eye out for my review of Wrath in the near future. Enjoy the video.
Agreed. I’ve been saying from the first time I heard this song that it’s very Pantera. Randy once again amazes me with his vocals. Every album that LoG does, he sounds leaps and bounds better than the previous. The guitars, bass, and drums are sick as always. This is shaping up to be one of my top albums of the year!!
i dont really see the similarities with pantera, like it alot though
Not the video, but the song itself has a Pantera feel to it and Randy’s vocals are kind of reminiscent of later Pantera era Phil Anselmo.
set to fail and fake messiah are the stand out songs of that album for me.
I’d have to say that this is probably my fav LOG song right at this moment. i can see a similarities in the vocals maybe , but not in any of the rest of the music.
