Thanks for the correction on The Passing, J-Bles. I don't know how I screwed that one up and you're the first person to say anything about it.

I expected another great Lamb Of God album...only better. It has it's great points and Randy's vocals show a lot of difference as we see with every release.

A review is simply an opinion, whether it's coming from a person that likes LOG or not. I don't wait for a cd to come out from a band that I know I don't like, just to tear it down if I think it's garbage.

Wrath is a solid album, as said. I guess everyone just expects more from them as they rise through the ranks. They'll continue to release solid, fan pleasing records. Reviews don't really effect bands like Lamb Of God, Metallica and Slipknot these days, as you can see by sales. BTW, I almost bought the deluxe vinyl this weekend at Best Buy.

It's called the Passing not the Passage.......

I think it's completely fucked up that people are saying that this album doesn't have strong chorus'. Broken Hands? Grace? Set to Fail? Everything to Nothing?

I also think it's fucked up that people are looking for more solos on a LOG cd...There's plenty on this one including the first LOG guitar solo with sweep picking.

I'm reading all these reviews where it sounds like the reviewer was A) Expecting the greatest album ever or B) Expecting another shitty metal release and then supported that opinion Ad Nausem or reacting to how completely mistaken they were.

I was really excited by the way the guitars both in layers and chord partials implied full chords and very, very happy with the way the record sounded on my stereo. Oh, and Randy Blythe's vocals display a new level of pitch control, dynamics and raw emotion. Almost like he was screaming melodies sometimes. Very big contrast from the Ashes and Palaces records. Chris Adler was amazing, John was audible for once and LOG introduced blast beats into their music.

So, while it's not the greatest record ever, it's progressive, has a very solid list of songs, sounds great and is one of Lamb of God's best releases to date...Oh..AND it was only $10.00 at Best Buy.

Absolutely. I think I expected a little more, but it's not disappointing. Metalksucks.net posted their review today and I think they pretty much pin-pointed what exactly it's missing; good choruses and more solos.

Its just good to see this band continue to put out good material that doesn't leave the fans disappointed.

I've had the CD for about 10 days now and I think it's the best work Lamb of God has done to date. Incredible drums, vocals, and guitars! Keep listening, it will surely grow on you!!!
