Last Weeks Album Sales
Here are a few figures to show how ass-backwards things are.
All That Remains’ Overcome lands on the Billboard 200 at #16 with just under 29,000 CD’s sold. Although that’s cool and everything…
Buckcherry’s Black Butterfly sold almost 47,000 and laded at #8. BUCK-FRIGGIN-CHERRY?!? What the hell is wrong in this world?
Taproot’s Our Long Road Home sold almost 7,700 copies and landed at #65. I’m not a long time fan of Taproot, but this is a pretty cool Rock album.
All Shall Perish sold slightly under 5000 copies of Awaken The Dreamers and landed at #126
Does this mean that Buck Cherry is better than the others mentioned? I don’t think so. I mean seriously, how many people here would choose BuckCherry over All That Remains?

i never really follow the billboard. plus, buckcherry is more mainstream, odds are you’ve heard some of their stuff on the radio on a drive to work.

I’ve heard BuckCherry a million times. Plus I cover a lot of their press over at The Rock Dose. It’s just hard to believe how popular they are. That and I guarantee that more people have heard of Buckcherry than ATR. I bet ATR is happy with 28000 plus.
