Megadeth Christmas Card Winner

Dave Mustaine held a contest at Megadeth.com a short while back for people to design a Christmas card that would go out to the Megafan Club members and friends of Megadeth. Dave picked a great winner. While a lot of the entries were good, I think he was looking for something simple and not so dismal, evil or scary looking. The winner (Rick Orlando out of Spokane Washington) hit it the nail on the head by designing the a card that represents the holiday and Megadeth well at the same time.
It’s obvious that a lot of people put a lot of effort into their cards, but you can only have one grand prize winner. You can view the rest of the cards here. One of my favorites is the drawing of Vic Rattlehead’s reflection in the Christmas Ball. The winner receives a phone call from Dave on Christmas day, an autographed Litho from the band members and an online guitar lesson from Chris Broderick.

Was the winner a pro artist? Kinda cheating if his full time job is that kinda stuff, but the card is damn cool.
I dont get it, the last day to submit was the 6th, and theyve already decided a winner??
