Megadeth’s Good Mourning Black Friday in Standard E Tuning… Incredible

October 1, 2009 by Eric J

Enjoy this amazing version of Megadeth’s Good Mourning/Black Friday in E. There isn’t anything I can can really say about it to explain how undeniably badass this is. Just listen to the song and tell me what you think. Thanks, Greatbrit 101!

How awesome! I love this song! This is the way it’s done!

Either way this song kills. Funny thing is is that I never really payed attention to the tuning. So I synced the video with the song on my iPod and I have iPod earbuds very loosely in my ears with over-the-ear headphones over them. Kinda sounds trippy.

This is not in E tuning.

The original was in -1/4 step tuning (as many people know), not half or full step tuning. This song sounds like it was brought up the full step, so its actually higher than E tuning.

You can tell if you play guitar along with it, its above E tuning.

Either way, its cool, but it is not in Standard E.
