Metal Grammy Nominees Are In
Among all of the other crap that gets nominated for Grammy awards there are always the underlying heavy metal nominees that never get played or even announced. Well here are the metal nominees for best metal performance, not too bad. I think they could have picked some better songs by all the bands though.
- Nothing Left
As I Lay Dying
Track from: An Ocean Between Us
[Metal Blade Records] - Never Ending Hill
King Diamond
Track from: Give Me Your Soul…Please
[Metal Blade Records] - Aesthetics Of Hate
Machine Head
Track from: The Blackening
[Roadrunner Records] - Redemption
Shadows Fall
Track from: Threads Of Life
[Atlantic] - Final Six
Slayer
Track from: Christ Illusion
[American Recording/Columbia]

I haven’t heard ” the Final 6 ” because I refuse to buy a reissue which was released less then a year after the original. But all the other tracks nominated kick major ass. Now wouldn’t it be cool to see machine Head on the Grammy’s?? Well, I can dream can’t I?

I hear you izzy, I haven’t heard that track either for the same reason. I wasn’t that impressed with CI as it is. I don’t even have the CD anymore…so I guess If I ever replace it I may get the SE.
