Metal Shavings 10/21
Wow, it feels like it’s been forever since I did one of these. I’ve posted quite a bit this month and good old Metal Shavings has been neglected…frankly because there hasn’t been in my opinion, been any real good news in metal…a few tid bits here and there but nothing on a large scale lately. Anyway I’ve compiled a few things.
Paul Raven, Bass player for the Band Ministry and Killing Joke is Dead at age 46 from an appearant heart attack.
Ozzy, Rob Zombie, And velvet revolver performed at SCREAM 2007, the horror/sci-fi event that was taped last friday and will air on Tuesday October 23rd on Spike TV.

Dave Navarro is going to direct some porn movie…so thats where his career has gone? Honestly I was at a record store about two weeks ago and was looking in the discount bin and all of his solo releases were in there…I don’t think they could give those away.
Rumor has it that Iron Maiden are planning some US tour dates for the Somewhere Back In Time Tour. No solid leads yet.
Nikki Sixx was quoted saying “I’m so healthy it’s ridiculous”, I say your so ridiculous it’s unhealthy!
