Metallica Jump In The Fire Grossly Overpriced Creature Toy.

December 9, 2008 by Scott

jump_fire_guy Metallica “Jump In The Fire” Creature Toy. Overpriced rock memorabilia is becoming a fad these days. A fad that KISS started a long time ago and other big bands are taking the ball and running with it. The newest edition to Metallica collectibles is the creature from the Jump In The Fire single cover.  here is how it’s described on the sales page:

Japanese-based Medicom Toys bring to life many of our action heroes from Batman, Spiderman, Star Wars, Disney, and so many more in 12 inch form. It is only fitting that Medicom brings to life one of our heroes and a legend in the Metal archives, the Jump in the Fire creature! This high quality soft vinyl character stands about 12 inches tall and comes in complete window packaging. The toy is limited to 1,000 pieces in production and is also an online exclusive

This “Action Figure” is selling online only right now for $99.99 and is available here. Kind of a ridiculous price if you ask me. A cool collection piece but it would be nice if us poor folks could collect things like this once in awhile.

  2. Giles says:

  3. lol, that’s good Giles.

It looks to be one piece. I wonder if its pose-able or maybe it’s like Stretch Armstrong..that would be cool! I think I’m not alone when I notice…he has no genitalia.
