Metallica Reveal New Album Title…for real this time.

So, for everyone that saw the little joke I did for Metallica’s new album cover and title, I hope you enjoyed it with a grain of salt. This time it’s the real deal…with the exception of the album cover. We still don’t know what that’s going to look like.
Metallica have titled their new Album “Death Magnetic“. Pretty cool I guess. Better than Load, Reload, or St Anger. Here is a video below, presumably from Metallica.com, uploaded to youtube announcing the album title. The intro riff sounds pretty cool. Kind of …And Justice For All sounding…but let’s not judge the entire record off of that one riff…or else Q-Prime might ask everyone to take it off of their blogs. Check out the videos. They are actually impressive and I promise, no more blatant cynicism towards the band until the release…and I swear to God if it blows I’ll never stop!
I personally agree with what seems to be majority opinion that the title sucks. “Magnetic Death” would be better, but not by much. Something about the way it doesn’t roll off the tongue sticks with me. But, here’s to hoping that the title reflects nothing of the quality of the album.
I think after Justice they ran out of cool ideas for album titles.
the title sucks, though it is much better than load, re-load, and st. anger/angler. are they really using that as the title?? hopefully they will reconsider soon. at the same time, the title is at least somewhat interesting.
