Metallica…Are Pervs’

You know what sucks about having a full time job is that a lot of the time I have to wait until after work to catch up on updates for my blogs. So there are a few pieces of news I have to catch up on. It’s not really news anymore that Metallica have released the artwork for Death Magnetic, so I thought I would try to make this interesting.
It’s quite obvious that the new album cover isn’t anything really epic and it’s cool that they are using the old Metallica logo. As every other site and commenter has said that it looks like a vagina. Is this intentional? I think so. Now let’s look at a few other things I’ve thought about today. I’m going to try to run through this quick because there is other news I need to get to.
Let’s start back at The Black Album. The Black Album has a snake on it…this can be perceived as a phallic symbol…or a penis for those without a dictionary.
Load- We all know that the cover of Load is supposedly semen and blood. Again…sexually related. Reload..the same, but this time is piss and blood.
Remember the S&M album…do I need to elaborate (Yes we know it stands for Symphony & Metallica, but it also stands for the obvious)
Then you have St. Anger. The cover with a hands bound…bondage anyone?
And now a Death Magnetic with a vagina shaped like a coffin…or is it a coffin shaped like a vagina? I know some people are going to take all of this seriously and get all up in a frenzy…but it’s ok. It all just seems like a funny coincidence to me, true or not. The cover art for Death Magnetic is simple yet kind of cool and I hope the music is a 1000 times better.

The artworks are done with an intension, it depends on how the viewer interprets that intention,so if you want to take it from that angle, fine but keep stupid ideas such as those to yourself. Hell, with your mentality everything can be turned into a pervert.
P.S what about master of puppets, ride the lightning, Kill ‘em All and And Justice For All(and pls grow up don’t tell me lady justice’s breasts)

No man i read ur pt sorry 4 being angry so much lol but i m such a fan of metallica i just dont stand these comments. im ok now,yeah, and bout kill em all it was sposed to be called metal up ur ass But it wast, lady justice (i thought i alrdy told u not to be mislead by that figure but wherever u search for lady justice she’s raped so what…she’s been through a bad time so cut her some slack xD the last thing she needs is u calling her a pervert’s symbol :]…we’re cool now.
I’m a fan too…but I’m not a fanboy that’s going to say they are kicking ass when they aren’t. Honestly I really couldn’t think of anything perverse about Justice and prior…like I said, joke.
I think Metallica’s biggest problem was Bob Rock and I think they finally realized that after St Anger. Black, Load And Reload were good albums. Not the thrash albums everyone expected, but good albums none the less. St anger on the other hand was a hyped up piece of trash. I’m thinking that this time they are back on track. And you may not like some of the older Metallica posts of mine, but they did their fans a horrible injustice when they recorded st anger and I’ll never let them live that down.
It may be that St.Anger is absolutely trash compared to previous albums(altough I myself still like it mainly because it is Metallica and not coz of the songs), problem being Bob Rock and the hard times the band went through but I’m pretty sure Death Magnetic will set them right on track. This time they are not stressed by a shit producer(gdbye bob rock) and have all the time they need to compose decent solos (which went missing in st.anger)
Just to set the record straight the image on death magnetic is the pattern you get when you scatter iron filling around a magnet. the filings line up with the poles of the magnet and the magnetic field on the sides.
