Here is Part two of my All That Remains interview with Frontman Phil Labonte from March 5th in Charlotte, NC. Part 1 is right here. Nice interview, Phil really does know his stuff. He made some great points about how everyone just immediately blames Bush for everything, and whatnot. Just because he’s president, it does make him an easy target. Sure he’s made mistakes, and bad decisions, but I do think that Phil’s right. If we’re going to blame anyone, we should blame the government. Without Congress’s authorization, we probably wouldn’t be in the situation we are now.
Haha and yes, Oli does not pray to God, God prays to Oli. It must be true.
I’ll definitely be looking forward to the interview with Laura Nichol as well as a Light This City contest.

Yeah, he knows too much! He was watching TV when I came in there and it was on some news channel. You’ll catch me looking up at the tv every now and then. These were some of my first interviews and I found myself doing all sorts of dumb stuff…but shit, I’m human.
Haha, yea you can kind of see the tv in the reflection of the glass. Even famous interviewers like Barbara Walters or whatever, aren’t perfect either. But don’t worry, you did a great job, especially for some first interviews. Hell, if it were me, I’d probably be too nervous to even ask him the questions, so keep it up! It really surprised me to hear Phil talking so in depth about politics, but that’s pretty cool. Looks like it kind of surprised you too. He seems like such a laid back guy when he’s not on stage.

Hey, uh this interview is way better than your first one you look pretty relaxed and confident, good questions and Phil looks like a real cool guy that knows a lot of stuff.Congrats and keep on doing what you do. let me know about any shows around here.
Yeah, man. By this time it was my third interview for the day and Phil was real cool. The black tide interview was kind of a last minute thing and I really wasn’t prepared and I didn’t know much about the band at the time either. So it helps when you know more about the bands…but I tell you i’ll never ask another political question, especially to Phil.
