New Black Sabbath Album With Ozzy?
Not yet, but according to an article at Ultimate Guitar He’d love to do another BS album. Here is an excerpt from the UG.com article. And yes, I know this is a few days old.
–”Ozzy Osbourne has revealed that he’d love to record another Black Sabbath album.
Osbourne has not featured on one of the band’s albums since their 1978 album, ‘Never Say Die!’ but has admitted that the band have been writing.
He told MTV: “I’d love to do another Black Sabbath album, we did try and write together; there are a bunch of things written. But the problem I’m having is it’s got to be at least on the same level as when we departed.”–
I think while the hype of a new Black Sabbath record would be greatly anticipated, it would be a huge disappointment in the end

Why does anyone even bother to ask about a Black Sabbath new album?? Hasn’t Ozzy been saying this shit since at least the year 2000? Accept the fact that it will never happen…Dio is a better singer anyways.

I hear you, Iz. These days Dio can still rip, But back in their day, Ozzy was my favorite singer. They could make 5 new records…but it will never top the BS of old. Also, everytime I see Ozzy doing some live show on TV, it looks like he’s lip syncing. I’m not saying he is…but it looks like it.

In my opinion, Ozzy hasn’t done anything that can touch his days with Black Sabbath. In fact, the song “Never Say Die” casts a shadow on his his entire solo career. Once again, that’s my opinion. And, yes!, Zakk needs to cut all that harmonic shit out. I’ve seen replays of “Bark at the Moon” from the VH-1 Rock Honors… Quit all that wanking, it’s annoying and distracts from the fact that there’s a song going on.

Well Said bob. Ozzy is a great performer but honestly there are few songs from his solo career that I actually enjoy, and you can get most of them on the 40 different best of cds out there. And how many sabbath compilations are they going to release?

They put out two new songs on a double album thy put out, on that Reunion double album. If they couldn’t sustain any momentum and put out a full album 10 years ago, I don’t see how they could now. But I did like those two songs.
