New Metal Releases For 3/24/09

There wasn’t really anything that came out last week that I thought was worth posting. This week is a bit different with a few significant albums. If you’re in to crappy music then you’ll be eager to run out and buy Papa Roach’s new album, but I would opt for any one of the others on this list before I made that mistake.

Mastodon – Crack The Skye (check out the special edition deluxe with a DVD of the Making Of Crack The Skye. I’ll let you know how that is later.)

Type O Negative – Slow, Hard And Deep (Type O’s Debut 1991 album Remastered and reissued through Roadrunner Records)

KMFDM – Blitz (For those that still like the industrial genre)

Papa Roach – Metamorphosis (It’s said that this album is heavier and a bit different from their other releases. So basically it’s going to suck a little heavier and a bit different from their other releases.)
