NKOTB Are Back!!!

This isn’t something that I would normally talk about but I can’t help but share. You may or may not know that my wife also writes for the b5Media Network for Pop Music Scene and I had to take her to WalMart Tuesday to pick up the new New Kids On The Block cd. While I was there I picked up The Showdown’s new cd Back Breaker. Pretty cool band I had not really heard of until one of the Metalsucks guys reviewed their new album.

Anyway, The New Kids were on The Today Show on NBC this morning and I was sitting in my recliner eating breakfast when they started playing. I almost spit Honey Nut Cheerios all over the living room in a fit of laughter. I couldn’t hold myself back and I apologized to my wife and left the room. It’s impossible for me to take this reunion or act seriously. Later we were putting away some clean clothes and I started mocking them and she got pissed off and said “At least they don’t hide behind masks like Slipknot.” and I replied, “Well maybe they should.”

I seriously thought the days of Boy Bands were over and this is just hilarious in my opinion. Even to come back with the same name. Lastly I must say…those damn Walbergs really know how to rap!
