No Ozzfest, No Worries
February 12, 2009 by Scott
Blabbermouth reports that Ozzfest will sit on the back-burner this year so Ozzy Osbourne can record another mediocre record with plenty of Zakk Wylde signature squeals. So no Ozzfest this year. Does it really matter? I mean it used to mean something because you would have all these great bands and…AND Black Sabbath. I don’t think it really makes a big difference to metal fans, as there are a plethora of great festivals and concerts touring this year anyway. Not only that, but tickets are cheaper for almost any one of these festivals/shows than Ozzfest would be. So…no Ozzfest, no worries.

I think they kinda let us down easy with last year’s show being exclusive to Texas and all.
I didn’t like that either. A single Texas only show? WTF?
I’ve seen Ozzy somewhat in his prime. Bark at the Moon, Ultimate sin. It’s just sad to see what he’s become.
maybe they’ll use this year to plan an improved version of ozzfest. After last years piss poor one day thing, it’ll either have to change or just call it quits.
