Nothingface Hit The Recording Studio
February 20, 2009 by Scott
Nothingface reunited awhile back but we really haven’t heard anything from them since. The silence has been broken and they are going to be in the recording studio for the next two weeks, writing and recording their next album.
“Hey there boys and girls, its 2009, and just like we promised, here come’s some new Nothingface goodies!!!! The band is at Wrightway Studios in Baltimore MD for the next 2 weeks writing and recording. There will be new studio footage posted every few days (if not every day), so keep checking back!
Nothingface was one of those bads that got lumped in to the Nu-Metal mixture mainly because of their goofy. Mudvayne-ish look and the fact that they didn’t solo and played in drop-tuning. That and the occasional rap-ish vocal breakdowns in songs like Breathe Out. To me, even though they were in that genre, they were still more metal than most of the nu-metal bands on the scene. I really don’t care what anyone says, I like the band. Songs like “Grinning” and “American Love” kicked ass along with most of the other songs on An Audio Guide To Everyday Atrocities and Violence. Those are the only two records I have so. I’m eager to see what they churn out with this new record.
You can follow their studio updates and they have also released all of their previous music videos in high-def (as high-def as youtube can be) on NothingfaceTV. You can also follow updates on them at their Myspace.
