Open Thread: Suggestions, Comments, Recommendations. It’s YOU time

I’m always trying to seek improvement in this blog and now it’s time to try to reach out the the readers. This is an open thread where I’m seeking your suggestions on content. Stuff you would like to see more of. Recommendations. Do you have any recommendations that you think I should check out. Bands that aren’t on the wire, maybe a band on myspace that you think deserve a shout out? Or comments in general. You know “Screw you, scott.”, “Go kill yourself, Scott”, “I have a boatload of money that I want to give to you, Scott.” whatever. I want to hear it.
I would love to improve the template of this page and make it a bit more eye appealing and maybe even more easily navigated, but that’s not up to me.
Also, if you’re a frequent reader and just want to shoot the shit or drop me a line, I’m on Skype (Scott.W76) and Yahoo! Messenger (Metal.Martyr). No Psychos please.
So let it rip. Rip me a new one and hell, if at anytime you write up something about your favorite band and want to do a guest post here, by all means let me know and I’ll be more than happy to post it and credit it to you and maybe even send you something semi-cool!
I like what you’re doin dude keep up the good work. If i had any suggestions maybe a link or something where people could suggest news that we’ve read elsewhere, or maybe a new background. That’d be kool.
I don’t care for the plain background either but it’s a network thing. See the big ass banner on the right where it says Got Press? It pretty much links to my metalmartyr.com@gmail.com address to send me news and what not. I have a bunch of metal news sites on my RSS but not all of them and as you know some have news that others don’t and sometimes I get press directly from labels. It’s just a matter of getting it out before someone else does.
Comments I have… perhapse changing the polls more often, Check out Purgatorium on myspace (friends of mine’s band) maybe some sort of counter saying when new cds are coming out (somewhere We can see them all together instead of all in seperate articals like a rss feed on the side of the page or something).
arcticals that I never really pay attention to : most anything to do with the music videos (unless I just want to hear the band ) and def. head bangers ball lists (but i guess others find that useful)

Yeah, the polls definitely need to be changed more often, Sometimes I forget about them. That lamb of god one was up there forever. I’ll try to change it out every couple of weeks or so.We may be changing wordpress versions soon so I’ll see about the cd release dates sidebar. That would be cool. Normally I only post videos if they are brand new. Or if I want to flashback a bit.

album reviews. guest posts. on this on blog i saw a little chat feature on the sidebar. on some blogs they use gravitar.com to apply avatars but i need to be able to become members.
I’ll be more than happy to post a guest review of albums if I haven’t already reviewed them. I already mentioned guest posts in the post above and I’ll have to find out about the avatar thing. I have seen that on other b5 blogs as well. Let me look in to it and see what I can find out.
your own headbangers ball style thing would be pretty cool. and maybe a link to some kinda of article where we can just post comments on new albums we’ve gotten and the like.
it’s a really good site though, and i like the basic design, i can load this page up on the computers at work haha
I think Quiz is fine. Last time I couldn’t entry, but it’s fun topic I thought, even there’s no prize.
It’s little hard for me to catch up with your energetically update, however I like this site scott!
