Ratty Band T-Shirts…We All Have At Least One

I was going through some old clothes yesterday and came across my first Megadeth T-shirt from the early 90’s. It’s from the Countdown To Extinction album and it was my first Megadeth t-shirt. I lived in a small town and band shirts were hard to come by back when I bought it in 1993. I was proud as hell when I bought it and wore it at every opportunity. 15 years later I still have it and at some point I ripped the sleeves off of it. It has been to Ozfest ‘97 and probably a couple of other concerts as well. Countless was and wears later it is still holding up…barely. I don’t wear it anymore because of the huge tear in the left sleeve area and the fact that I fear a good stiff breeze might make it disintegrate while I’m wearing it. I have other ones that would probably be in just as bad shape if not worse if I still had them but sometimes you lose them or your significant other throws them away not knowing the sentimental value.
