Rockstar Energy Mayhem Fest Tour Dates and Ticket Presales Announced
April 1, 2008 by Scott
Even though a lot of the tour dates for the upcoming Rockstar Energy Mayhem Fest dates have been announced already here are some dates posted by Roadrunner.com. You can also register for presale tickets. You can bet the farm I’m going to cover this show in August in Virginia Beach. Now, I have to try to figure out how to get a press pass. Any promoters or Label PR’s listening???
From Roadrunner Records Myspace Post:
Organizers of the first-ever Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival have announced dates, venues and on-sale information for the highly anticipated all-star thunderfest.
Multi-platinum rock acts Slipknot and Disturbed will lead the much-buzzed-about amp-shattering road show, which will feature hard music’s most influential bands and its new wave of heavy-hitting acts. The tour is set to kick off July 9 at the White River Amphitheatre in Seattle and will hit Live Nation Amphitheaters in 30 cities in the U.S. and Canada between July 9 and August 19, 2008.
Fans can purchase tickets beginning April 4 at 10AM local venue time via the Official Mayhem Fan Community at http://mayhemfest.tickets. musictoday.com.
Pre-sale orders also allow fans to hear tracks from Mayhem bands, receive early entry venue passes, purchase a discounted subscription to Revolver magazine and receive a Mayhem t-shirt.
In addition, pre-orders enroll fans into a contest offering one grand prize winner an electric guitar and two meet & greet
passes to get the six-string signed.
Fans that pre-register to be a part of the Mayhem Fan Community before April 4 can purchase tickets upon immediate availability. And by pre-registering, they’ll also be entered into a contest to win a merch pack featuring CDs from every band on the tour.
Tickets go on sale nationally beginning April 19.
You can get more information at www.Mayhemfest.com or www.livenation.com.
In addition to Slipknot and Disturbed, the main stage features Dragonforce and Mastodon, as well as a Jagermeister second stage with Machine Head, Airbourne, Five Finger Death Punch, Walls of Jericho and the Jagermeister Battle of The Bands Winner. how much are the tickets going to be about when they actually go on sale?
I think it will depend on the venue. I have seen it from 33 for lawn seats to 67 for the pit. Still not bad
if you buy the presale, is that pit tickets? its only one price no options.
Register at the link in the post and you should be able to find the nearest venue and presale tickets. The prices are a lot better than any of the place you may have looked previously. I think they are actually reasonable for a fest this big. Just depends on how willing you are to get close to the bands.
how much are pre sale tickets?
Schedule shows 8/17 Nissan Pavilion show. Show does not show up on the Nissan Pavilion website, ticketmaster.com , Slipknot’s website or Disturb’s website. What’s up with this?? Is the show really happening up in DC?
i heard the tickets are 150$ for the pit
okay, here’s info that wouldve helped me out.
the rockstar mayhem site said tickets are under 57 dollars.
i live in houston. the tickets on that site were minimum 57 with the presale i guess. i was told they were pit tickets from the site themselves but they were wrong…
tickets selling for each venue on the rockstar site are all different.
and tickets actually go on sale for different areas at different times.
my houston venue is tomorow 4/26.
you might check live nation.com for a possiblity of them telling you when your venue sells tickets.
i figure i have more info or couldve worded better but im tired been working 9pm to 12 am every dya this week and just got home.
The ticket’s were reasonably priced for the Atlanta Show. I got seats and VIP parking and it didn’t hurt my budget too bad.
It was a pain to figure out when and were the tickets went on sale initially though, it seemed like everybody was saying something different. Then the scalper websites selling tickets at 80 to 120 bucks each didn’t help with the initial ticket price speculation.
What the fuck is a pit pass? do you really need to pay more just to go in the fucking mosh?
This post was from last years fest. No news on this years yet. The pit pass was for the main stage, typically under a pavilion, to have access to the floor area. Of course you could always mosh in the grass seat area. The secondary stages was free for all, no sating and there was sometimes two or three mosh pits going.
