Rockstar Energy Mayhem Tour Update

by Scott on January 30th, 2008

slipknot2.jpgThe Rockstar Energy Mayhem tour kicks off in july and will run through August. The shows will play 30 North American Amphitheaters. Topping the bill will supposedly be Slipknot and Disturbed, both of which are supposed to have new CDs out this year. Last time I heard nothing was set in stone for Slipknot. Also rumored to be joining the bill are Mastodon, Dragonforce, Walls Of Jericho, Sevendust and Suicide Silence.

finding tickets for this is complicated..
all these fake sites are charging way too much. and putting small text saying it wont be the same cost as which will be printed on the ticket.

anyone know the REAL release of these tickets?
    specifical for Irvine Californias.
    if so here ickle_boo_poo@yahoo.com

holy crap…I see what you mean. Ticketsonline.com is charging 73.00 for lawn seats. Concerts aren’t cheap, but that is just ridiculous!

I’ll keep trying but it seems I’m getting the same thing everyone else is. Maybe when time draws closer I’ll be able to find something worth posting an update.

isnt that crap? I mean lawn is usually only around 40… Im hoping these are just messed up sites overcharging before there released or something. I wonder if ticketmaster will ever have them up for sell. those are the only prices ill belive beside once posted on the official tour page. Anyone else have problems getting theyre mailing list to actually work?

I’m 32 so the last time I bought lawn seats at ozfest 97 they were 22 bucks. I would wait until the official release and dates of the tour. I can’t find anything that seems legitimate and/or fair priced.

some of the good concerts still cost that. It is ridiculus.

Yea some of the prices i’ve seen are definitely overpriced. Chances are we’ll be able to find cheaper tickets later on, but I try to avoid buying online…just because a lot of times, they’ll overcharge.
