Slayer Performs "Psychopathy Red" In Glasgow ON The Unholy Alliance Tour III

November 7, 2008 by Scott

You heard it already in a demo kind of form. Not too bad but it still just sounds like another Slayer song. I mean, I still love Slayer, but it’s all starting to kind of sound the same to me. What ever happened to those kick ass, evil breakdowns and choruses that made you want to tear shit up? Oh well, at least they are kind of sticking to form.

Here is some fan filmed footage of Slayer performing their new song “Psychopathy Red” in Glasgow on the Unholy Alliance III tour It’s not the best video but the sound is pretty good. Looks like it was difficult for the person filming it to stand still. Probably due to the typical energy at a Slayer show. If you’ve never been to a Slayer show, get there before it’s too late. You won’t be disappointed.

This is the first time I heard thissong…am I the only person who was immediately reminded of Aggresive Perfector? It sounds alot like Haunting the Chapel era Slayer…and that is damn good in my book.

The main problem these days (in my opinion) is Tom Araya’s screaming vocals. It’s all starting to sound the same and it’s slightly aggravating. The Demo sounds pretty good. It has that early Slayer sound to it and it’s quite obvious that it’s Jeff Hannemen punk influence.
