Century Media: 20 Years Of Extremes

Century Media celebrates 20 Years Of Extremes (music) by releasing a 2 cd compilation today (Oct. 14th). The 2 cd compilation is actually Century Media label bands covering…well, other Century Media label bands, past and present. You can check out the track-list below. Look for a review in the near future. You may have heard Firewind’s cover of Nevermore’s Believe In Nothing a few weeks ago at the Century Media Myspace. Now you can listen to Aborted covering Termoil’s "Playing Dead" on the Century Media Europe Myspace. I saw Aborted live during the Carcass Reunion show and they put …read more

Carcass Wrap Up North American Reunion Tour

Reformed melo-death/gore-grind legends CARCASS recently completed their first North American tour since first reanimating early this year. Guitarist Michael Amott (ARCH ENEMY) commented on what their recent touring experience was like:
"What a tour! So many sold-out shows and fantastic, bordering on fanatical response from the fans everywhere we went! I’d like to thank the fans in the US/CANADA/MEXICO for waiting patiently and remaining fans all these years – and for coming out in such big numbers on the tour. For me personally it’s been quite emotional playing THOSE songs with THOSE guys again – really cool …read more

If You Can’t Make It To The Exhumed To Consume Tour, Here Is What You’re Missing.

The Exhumed To Consume Carcass Reunion Tour isn’t going to make it to every major city. In case you can’t make it, here is a sample of what you will be missing. I’ve found some of the bands videos as well as some free MP3’s at the bottom. This first video is from Carcass, post Mike Amott era from the Swansong CD. Everyone says they hate this cd (Because it doesn’t have MIke) but I still dig it! Keep On Rotting In The Free World!

I Saw Carcass Live!…I Can Die Now.

Well, I can’t say that I want to die just yet but I’m pretty damn ecstatic. Last night was an amazing time seeing the Exhumed To Consume Tour and every band on the bill was awesome. Been feeling kind of “Blah” and hopefully a few beers later will make me feel better. If this show is coming to a city even remotely near you and you’re a fan of Carcass and Suffocation, then go see it. You won’t be disappointed. Bring 30 bucks if you want a tour T-shirt though. Yeah, I expected maybe a 20 or 25 dollar …read more

Metalsucks.net Review Made Out Of Babies, Motley Crue and Aborted

I wasn’t the only one who gave Motley Crue’s new release Saints Of Los Angeles a bad review. The Metalsucks.net writer Axl Rosenburg did as well….and yes, that’s his real name (Maybe). He’s quoted as saying :
”Saints of Los Angeles isn’t the total car wreck I assumed it would be, but it’s a lot closer to Dr. Feels Sort of Okay than I would have hoped.”
Aside from that, he also reviewed the new Made Out Of Babies cd The Ruiner and Aborted’s latest release STRYCHNINE.213
Check out what else was said about SOLA and other reviews Here!
