Holy crap, 2008 is here already. Where does the time go. Another year another year older my decrepit ass is. 2007 was a fun filled roller-coaster of madness, but here we are. It’s time for a whole new shitty year. A new president will be elected, “W” will finally be out and we can look forward to a whole new screwed up situation come ‘09. Former Dio Guitarist Craig Goldy wants to share his vast knowledge of the record industry…that is probably old and out dated. Here’s some knowledge I have of the record industry, It’s a dying institution unless they adapt to the internet.

Metallica’s Black Album is one of the top ten selling elbums of the “Sound Scan” era, a bunch of people on Blabbermouth.net argue about it, blah-blah-blah…who really cares.

Sebastian Bach still thinks his record is the greatest thing since Chinese Democracy and Phil Anselmo lists Downs new record in his own top 5 of 2007. This goes to show that neither artists are truly sober just yet.

To all my readers I apologize. I know sometimes I stray away from the over all metal theme of this page but I need to vent once in while when crap like this comes about. I can’t stand it any longer. Between her and Britney Spears, I’m sickened. You know what would be nice is to have some news about people that are doing good things instead of people that are plastering the front page of every tabloid looking like shit and doing stupid things. The sad thing is that people feed off of this crap, they love it, they live for it.They have nothing better to do that read about someone else’s self inflicted miserable life. I hope this draws some of those people here so they can get pissy with me so I can tell them just how stupid they are for living for this crap.

It’s ok, cause when she cleans herself up and starts trying to make a new record her career is going to fizzle out like a wet firecracker because then everyone will see just how boring she really is without the heroine infested sideshow.

Let’s start with Kanye West. Last year he says some stupid remark about George Bush hating black people because New Orleans didn’t get help that it needed. Last time I checked there were white people in NOLA too. Both upper and lower class. Everyone there suffered, don’t be such an ass. Next Kanye’s mother dies. Millions of mothers have died and millions more will die. His mom is not the first and won’t be the last. So to the entire world I say this. GET OVER IT, He’s the one that should be grieving. You television pasted rejects need to stop crying like it was your own mother. Yours will die someday too and the world won’t be mourning her by your side.

Nikki Sixx is suddenly an inspiration to tweekers everywhere. He almost dies from a stupid addiction, writes a book and BAM! He’s suddenly the poster child for idiotic addicts “overcoming”. Once again…he’s not the first he won’t be the last heroin addict to clean up. I quit smoking last January and they say nicotine is more addictive that any drug out there. Maybe I can write a book called The Newport Diaries and change the world one puffer at a time! You’re almost 50 dude…time to stop teasing the hair and wearing eye liner.

Amy Winehouse…oh Amy, you’re such a mess and people love you. I don’t know why. She’s a mediocre singer in my opinion. She wears too much make-up and causes too much drama, yet she’s in the headlines everyday whether it’s drugs or battery on her obviously and equally screwed up husband/ boyfriend or whatever he is. She’s like Courtney love and Britney Spears rolled into one, minus the murdered Kurt Cobain. I think I hear the methadone clinic calling. By the way, heroine addiction is NOT a handicap, Being a quadrapeligic is a handicap. Sticking needles in your arm cause you’re too stupid not to is NOT! Speaking of Britney…

Oh Britney. WTF?!!??!? Finally the Britney bomb has fizzled out and it took yet another overhyped cd release “comeback” with the name Blackout to bring the ho-train to a screaming stop. The drama has settled a bit but we still have another stupid Britney pictured in another stupid hat. You’re not a good dancer, you’re not a good singer. You had your time, now STFU and move on and do something you’re good at…be a parent. Oh wait…you’re no good at that either! Whoever thought K-fed would look this good right now?

So there you have it. I feel much better now that I have verbally bashed a few people that have way too much money to be acting so stupid and getting so much publicity. Now I can go back to being Mr. Nice Guy…yeah right!
