Megadeth Done With Recording…For Now

Megadeth are getting ready to head out to Priest Feast with Testament and Judas Priest for two months, so all studio recording will cease until they return in late March. Here is an excerpt from Dave Mustaine’s update from the Megadeth Forums.
I am sitting in my office at 5:30ish AM and am typing this as I try to wake up. Yesterday, Andy Sneap went back to the UK for a while, as we are preparing to go out on the Priest Feast Tour. This means effectively that the recording has stopped, until we return in March/April.

Dave Mustaine Offers Another Studio Update

Dave Mustaine has posted another Megadeth Studio recording update over at the Megadeth Forums. I eager to hear some new Megadeth with Chris Broderick on guitar. Chris is an amazing guitar player and can only add to the impressive line-up in the studio. Should be interesting to see what he has to offer. Megadeth Announce Tour With Judas Priest And Testament…In The UK.

Damn, to be stuck in America with no fat wads of money to blow when things like this come around. Megadeth announce today that they will be touring with Judas Priest on Priest Feast with Testament opening in february. For real…why can’t we get more of that in the U.S.. I know we just had the Metal Masters Tour but come one. I really shouldn’t bitch about stuff like this because there are some fans that don’t get to see any good concerts. Below are the tour dates.

Shawn Drover recently commented on the progress of Dave Mustaine’s new recording studio in San Diego California. Once the studio is up and running, preproduction can start on the next Megadeth Album. The follow up to 2007’s Untied Abominations and first record to include Chris Broderick to be produced by Andy Sneap.
