Things didn’t go quite as planned last Saturday at the All That Remains and Trivium show. The tour manager had some issues with her Mac-book that had to be resolved and it through off my interviews. I didn’t get to interview Phil Labonte as planned but I did get to speak to Mike Martin and Oli Herbert, which was cool too. I did shoot about 200 pictures of the band during the first 3 songs. As yet untitled, the album, ALL THAT REMAINS’ fourth, is being recorded with producer Jason Suecof (The Black Dahlia Murder, Chimaira, Cannae).

According to All That Remains’ Frontman Phil Labonte’s personal Myspace.com blog, Phil has flow down to Florida where the band will be starting preproduction on the new record at Audio Hammer Studios this thursday.
We have 10 songs done, probly gonna have more on the disc. There are a few that are very similar to stuff on TFOI but there are a few that we really took a different approach to. ALL THAT REMAINS schedules studio time for forthcoming album, gear up for Warped Tour
Massachusetts’ ALL THAT REMAINS has confirmed May 1 as the first day of recording at Audiohammer studio in Florida with producer Jason Suecof (Bury Your Dead, Chimaira, Devildriver) for the band’s follow-up to 2006’s ‘The Fall of Ideals.’ More details, including a release date, artwork and tracklisting, will be available shortly.

I got my birthday present  last Friday. A bit early but who’s counting days. I debated buying the iPod Nano because I like the size but I didn’t like the size of the memory. 8 gigs just didn’t quite seem enough and I figured for another 50 bucks why not get the iPod Classic 80 gb.

I’ve debated buying the All That Remains Live DVD for awhile now. I’m just not big on Live DVD’s, but since I’m going to see them live for the first time next month I figured it would be a good idea to pick this one up and see what I can expect.
